Senior Marketing Coordinator The Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing marketing and pursuit activities, including playing a leading role in pursuit planning and developing proposals that help us stand out from the competition; assisting with monitoring for and identifying new business opportunities; implementing local campaigns; and monitoring the local business pipeline. The Senior Marketing Coordinator will assist with pursuit efforts in other markets as needed. Primary Responsibilities: Proposal Development:
  • Support the local Property and Buildings team with winning new work by collaborating with local and regional leadership and Business Development team members to develop creative proposals, presentations, and other business development materials
  • Collaborate with the business development and technical staff in the development of winning strategies for pursuit efforts
  • Lead a proposal effort, from start to finish, including, but not limited to attending pre-proposal meetings with technical staff or BD team, overseeing a kick-off meeting, directing creative staff, assigning tasks to pursuit team, writing marketing portions, editing technical portions, and production
  • Develop qualifications packages, RFQ and RFP responses, interview presentations, and follow-up materials
  • Help prepare interview teams for client presentations
  • Maintain company opportunity and people & projects information databases
  • Provide pipeline and marketing performance reports as requested
  • Support pursuit efforts throughout the region or with other market sectors as required
  • Perform ISO (as applicable) of fee proposals and peer review of qualification based pursuits
  • Perform QC of qualifications and proposals
  • Other duties relating to marketing and business development as assigned
  • Marketing Planning and Management:
  • Support BD/Marketing plan execution and ensure strategies and tactics support plans are updated
  • Support technical staff and business development to develop, track, and update coordination efforts (including KCM programs)
  • Participate in marketing, strategy, and go/no-go meetings
  • Manage local marketing events and campaigns, including planning, scheduling, execution, and follow-ups
  • Support trade shows and industry speaking engagements
  • Collaborate with Communications Team to identify opportunities for promotion, including speaking opportunities, local news, social media, etc.
  • Manage project photography catalogue and organize photo shoots of new projects as needed
  • Identify opportunities to submit for local awards and prepare award submittals
  • Work with Regional Coordinator / Manager to support regional campaign initiatives as required
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of industry trends and regional project opportunities
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the local marketplace and our position in it
  • Assist with competitor analysis, selection panel profiling, and client research
  • Research leads generated from sales and business development efforts
  • Research market to monitor for local market trends and client opportunities
  • Participate in local events and industry organizations

  • Job Requirements
    Required Skills:
  • 8 or more years of work experience in marketing.
  • Technical Ability: Excellent writing, grammar, spelling, editing and verbal communication skills; strong graphic design capabilities; keen attention to detail and focus on developing a high quality product
  • Industry: strong understanding of the business of the A/E/C industry
  • Client/Customer Service: understanding of marketing as a service to the office
  • Communications: ability to speak and write clearly. Including the ability to collaborate with colleagues, senior technical staff, and management
  • Organizational: excellent time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple demands
  • Teamwork: team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in to help get the work done, even if it requires overtime
  • Continuous Learning: desire to learn and continually seek opportunities for betterment
  • Software: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign intermediate or above knowledge and experience required), Oracle or similar database for CRM (intermediate to expert user proficiency)
