TheAccount Manager will be a part of a fun, upbeat, and constantly evolving IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. The ideal candidate will possess high-energy, professionalism, ability to present well, and natural sales instincts. Basic Functions:Work with active customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demandsSeek out additional revenue through existing accounts by cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to existing accountsQualify new sales opportunities for current customersConduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of Tekscape to active customersWork with management to develop proposals, quotes and respond to RFP/RFI documentsEffectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations throughout the lifecycle of the accountManage the complexity of service proposals, contracts, and service level agreementsMaintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of TekscapePerform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in ConnectWise and remain compliant with defined policies and proceduresAchieve and maintain a positive rapport with prospects and work to give them the best possible serviceManage at least 20 - 30 client accounts
- Monthly meetings with key accounts
- Weekly check-in with accountsProspect to organizations throughout the country selling Cloud and IT servicesRespond to and qualify incoming web and phone inquiries regarding our products and solutionsMeet or exceed quarterly sales goals as defined by managementDevelop and maintain solid business relationshipsWork effectively and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policyDevelop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer's needsDocument internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilitiesResponsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occurEnter all work as activities in ConnectWise (CRM)
Skills and Qualifications:Outside sales experience with selling relevant IT services and productsPossess a track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales processDemonstrated level of success in the development of client relationshipsHigh energy and drive with strong negotiation skillsProficient with general office applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skillsAble to prepare well-written communications and material for client meetings and internal meetingsInterpersonal skills: such as telephone skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-careSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
Education & Previous Experience:BA/BS, preferably in Engineering, Economics, IT or Business5+ years of sales experience within the IT and/or MSP space (Required)
