  • ROLE SUMMARY

    The Director, PCA Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing the US payer engagement strategy, including Pre-Approval Information Exchange activities and related access launch planning. They will work with a cross-functional team including PCA and Brand Marketing, Account Management, Contracting/Customer Analytics, Health & Value, and Medical to develop comprehensive US payer engagement strategies, resources, and tactics from pre-approval through launch. Ensuring open communication, sharing of insights, and collaboration with Lilly Alliance partners will be critical to the success of this role. This individual will also participate in (and eventually lead components of) the ongoing development of the TANEZUMAB US value platform leveraging available clinical, real world, and pharmaco-economic data to support both launch and potential new indications. They will partner with market research colleagues to generate customer insights that inform the focus and optimal methods of communicating key value messages. We seek a high-performing individual who has a good understanding of the US payer space, ideally to include Buy & Bill/Specialty product experience, with brand and/or payer marketing experience. This individual will have the opportunity to own elements of the payer engagement plan and value platform for an innovative first in class growth brand with associated accountability for achieving and maintaining quality access to TANEZUMAB for patients. The candidate should have the ability to interact with senior leaders with a track record demonstrating strong leadership, marketing, communication, influence, and strategic thinking abilities.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Direct ownership and responsibility for building/implementing the US payer engagement strategy and payer marketing platform for TANEZUMAB incorporating insights from Account Management, Patient & Health Impact (PHI), Customer Marketing, Customer Analytics, and other internal and external stakeholdersLead the development and implementation of the TANEZUMAB Pre-Approval Information Exchange strategy for targeted US customers.Responsible for creating US payer launch resources/tactics and Account Team trainingEnsure alignment with Alliance and PHI/PCA/Marketing cross functional partnersSupport launch and lifecycle planning for the TANEZUMAB value platform including integration of new clinical data, indications, and real-world evidenceCollaborate with market research colleagues to generate customer insights that drive the creation of our value messages and measure the effectiveness of those messages and how they’re deliveredEnsure that communication of the value platform is personalized by customer segment and stakeholder; and delivered through the most effective channelsSupport development of the Customer/Brand engagement strategy for top accounts within Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Federal channelsSolicit continual feedback on the effectiveness of current messages, tools and resources through the Payer Matrix team and other cross functional workstreamsPrepare for key conferences and internal Pfizer meetings (ie. Sales POA, National Accounts POA, YBM, etc.)

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in business or healthcare related course of study10 years of combined experience within the U.S. pharmaceutical/healthcare market with primary focus within Payer Brand/Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, and/or a Market Access functionPrior success delivering results and experience with collaborating across multiple stakeholders to drive resultsStrong communication skills and ability to mobilize key stakeholdersDemonstrated creativity, coupled with ability to navigate the internal organization/processes

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Market access experience preferred (i.e. Payer value proposition development, access strategy development)Familiarity with TANEZUMAB and/or the I&I category is strongly preferredFamiliarity with key payer conferences, customers, and opinion leaders, experience designing and leading payer ad boards and market researchFamiliarity with Pfizer’s Review Committee (RC) process and GCMA system preferred
