The AD, Patient Marketing will lead the development of patient engagement and education strategies, implementation plans and program effectiveness to support the glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) franchises. This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the US Marketing Lead, and is located in the New York, NY office location.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides leadership to the patient marketing team by establishing clear roles and responsibilities, objectives, metrics and team development plans

Mobilizes the organization to drive patient-specific strategic and creative drivers for the franchise

Develops patient engagement strategies and tactics to support growth and adoption of Optune and NovoTTF-100L

Serves as subject matter expert for patient engagement, acquisition and retention

Continuously drives innovation by understanding industry trends, seeking out patient engagement tools and introducing new vendors

Builds a trusting relationship with key stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of strategy and programming

Effectively manages agency, budgets and resources

Partners with market insights to understand and uncover marketplace trends, segment specific drivers and barriers

Evaluates the effectiveness of promotional programs through KPIs and other metrics to ensure positive return on investment and achievement of objectives

Promotes a culture of learning, growth and development for the patient marketing team and contributes to the leadership and governance of the brand team

Experience in developing a strategy and integrated plan to achieve and measure the impact of key tactics and initiatives through clear metrics

Exceptional budget management skills

Strong commercialization experience that has yielded an understanding of the activities, regulations, and processes required for successful product marketing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional listening skills, strong presentation skills, and effective negotiating and influencing skills

Operates quickly and decisively in a fast-paced, demanding innovative environment

Demonstrated ability to be resourceful in an entrepreneurial work environment, which includes the ability to roll up sleeves and lead or contribute to a project in a direct capacity

Experience:

Bachelors degree required

A minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience in healthcare industry marketing, in pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices

Experience in patient driven markets highly preferred

Launch and in-line brand management experience highly desirable

Advanced business degree such as an MBA desirable

3-5 years of Oncology, Neurology, Pulmonology, and/or rare diseases
