The Director of Sales and Marketing Operations provides the leadership and management necessary to drive performance, operational excellence and strategy execution. This key position will be responsible for partnering with all Go-to-Market (GTM) functions of the UCaaS business unit, including Sales, Marketing and Channel Support.
Go-to-Market Strategy and Business Support
Drive the execution of all functions within the organization s GTM strategy using comprehensive KPI s and metrics
Partner with other functions and business units to influence strategic direction
Monitoring progress toward business goals and achievement of financial targets and SLAs.
Play a key role in quarterly / monthly UCaaS planning meetings to ensure the organization is aligned on forecast.
Manage agendas/topics for staff meetings, strategic off-sites and other important business reviews
Drive the operating cadence and content for business, operational, strategic reviews, and special projects
Assist functional leaders in the annual planning process, headcount allocation, portfolio management, etc.
Systems Infrastructure, Reporting & Analytics
Build and enhance our sales operations function including the deals desk, sales commission plans, and channel programs.
business intelligence, reporting and data mining capabilities in partnership with Finance
Optimize tools, applications, processes and to effectively grow the organization and enable productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, Sales/Booking growth and other measures.
10+ year s proven experience with Go-to-Market sales operations - skilled in organizational development, people management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
At least 5 years of experience working with a SaaS company, combined with deep understanding of the multiple sales channels to to market.
UCaaS experience is a plus.
Deep understanding of the drivers of sales generation and the operational foundations required to support a rapidly-scaling organization
Experience leading complex, cross-functional teams in a high-performance environment
Understanding of end-to-end sales pipeline and customer lifecycle
Results-oriented and data-driven mindset
Familiarity with marketing and sales operations systems and tools such as SFDC, Marketo and others
Strong track-record of process improvement and automation
Extraordinary analytical, people, and communication skills.
Flexibility. Ability to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
Strong knowledge of data analysis and performance/operations metrics.
Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Business preferred. MBA or Masters degree strongly preferred.
