Description
Kforce has a client seeking a VP of Product Marketing - Medical Affairs in Tempe, AZ.Summary:In this role, the VP of Product Marketing is directly responsible for managing the life cycle value of company MA/MI products (or product suites) in a manner consistent with the company's strategic and financial goals. Central to the success of this role is staying at the forefront of customer needs as well as market forces and emerging trends.Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Market and Competitive Analyses
  • Product Strategy, Pricing and Roadmap(s)
  • Go-to-Market Planning, Branding, Packaging and Messaging (with company Marketing and Sales)
  • Positioning the product with customers, organizing regional customer seminars, webinars and speaking at congresses (product 'evangelist')
  • Developing marketing-oriented Engaging Content such as blogs, articles, white papers and case studies
  • Defining Business Requirements in such detail as needed for business analysts to provide detailed programming specifications for Roadmap development, as needed
  • Sales Enablement such as attending customer meetings to demonstrate and position the products, as needed

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred)
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software Product Marketing or software product business leadership, or the equivalent in relevant work experience (e.g., selected and implemented software products and platforms within a life sciences organization)
  • At least five (5) years of experience in roles focused on MA/MI, and responsibilities in life sciences
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful software product throughout the lifecycle
  • Demonstrated success in planning, launching, guiding and growing exceptional software products and fostering delighted customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Experience working with a global organization a plus
