The Business Development & Enablement Sales Engineer s (BizDev SE) primary role is to support Jamf s Business Development efforts. This means working alongside various sales professionals and Inside Sales Representative to rapidly explore new markets, define compelling technology needs, and develop enablement materials for the Sales and SE teams to use to drive future sales.

This particular position focuses on developing the team to support selling in environments including the Federal Government, Regulated industries, and other highly secure organizations.

The position also requires an ability to create materials for and provide training to other SEs and coworkers. Over time, the goal is to develop a market or technology, migrate that knowledge to the broader team, and move on to a new market or technology challenge.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the business and educational benefits of Jamf products to prospective and existing customers, and small groups at events, via remote/online tools and/or on site.
  • Work jointly with the Sales team on strategy, discovery sessions, demos, and evaluations to Work with sales teams to understand customer requirements and create solutions with unique business value, to ultimately drive customer success.
  • Identify and understand the ongoing service needs of customer and recommend solutions in terms of support and service engagements.
  • Support revenue and billings goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the broader SE team by contributing relevant information and knowledge.
  • Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
  • Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs).
  • Performs other duties and projects as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures.
  • 3+ years of technical sales, support or services experiences (Required)
  • More than 2 years exposure to Jamf products, related architecture tools and relevant competing solutions (Required)
  • More than 2 years experience working in and/or selling to multiple levels within a complex, highly secure organization such as the Federal Government and/or financial institutions
  • Advanced proficiency with Apple technology (Mac OS and iOS) and mobile device management (MDM) within a medium to large scale Apple environment.
  • Strong presentation skills Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Proven customer service abilities with good listening skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results-driven culture with an ability to engage and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees
  • Self-starter, energetic multi-tasker, highly motivated and team player
  • Ability to navigate Confluence and other Jamf tools to create and edit training material and documentation
  • Work across multiple departments to help shape the story of the tech
  • Work at all levels with our partners including Apple, MPP, and channel partners to help explain the story of our tech
  • Assist with developing and explain new integrations, partners, and selling strategies
  • Create and foster new connections with our partners

Location: Minneapolis MN, Eau Claire WI Preferred. Will consider rest of US

Travel: Up to 40% including some international travel
