Responsibilities also include sales operations support such as managing the CRM software, managing sales document templates, populating sales related reports and presentations, etc. As well as a limited component of inside sales work through platforms such as EnergySage and PickMySolar.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound or outbound sales lead communications, including but not limited to phone and email. Understand product and service offerings, along with the organizational structure to appropriately direct sales lead calls. Enthusiastically share with the prospect our product and services with the purpose of capturing prospects attention by creating interest and a call to action.
  • Existing Customer engagement & communication specialist. Take inbound calls from existing customers, clearly understand issues and communicate internally to delivery resolutions to clients. Be an advocate for existing customers with a solutions orientated approach focused on issue resolution by engaging cross-departmental resources.
  • Track lead progress in Salesforce and coordinate reporting. Follow up with sales team members to ensure proper and timed handling of leads. Review MIA customers who need additional follow up.
  • Assist with the coordination of promotional events including the ordering of any materials needed, securing the location, and ensuring sales team engagement while occasionally tabling events as needed Manage outreach activities aimed at turning passive interest into active interest (email blasts, CRM mining, referral programs)
  • Inside sales activities
  • Execute projects as set forth by manager.
  • Qualifications

    Education:

  • College degree required or working toward college degree with significant work experience acceptable.
  • Experience:

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience in a professional business environment required
  • Cold call center, customer service specialist experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce system if preferred
  • Basic understanding of Solar and or construction is preferred
  • Job Skills:

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills (a MUST HAVE)
  • Customer empathy and strong desire to solve issues internally for clients
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and decision making skills
  • Ability to keep up to date on current events related to the solar and storage industries
  • Flexibility, initiative and dependability
  • Well versed in MS Office products (including solid Excel skills)
  • Flexibility to work night and weekends on occasions (40 hour work weeks in total)
