Job Details

The Technical Writer will require technology or digital media experience at a SaaS company, and is responsible for developing and maintaining product documentation in a unified voice, to convey clear and effective product details for an optimal customer experience. The role will help build and maintain a comprehensive help center filled with contextual online help, knowledge base of articles and content in a variety of formats. This individual will support the documentation team and play an active part in the product life cycle and Amobee’s go-to-market. Becoming a subject matter expert is required to create and deliver instructional content in a fast-paced environment. This individual will need to understand the voice of the customer and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and change with the Product and company’s vision.
Responsibilities

  • Create product documentation for all levels of proficiency that support Amobee’s knowledge base help center and various products
  • Produce content in a variety of formats (e.g., text, visual, guides, modules, videos) and programs
  • Support the product and business by reprioritizing work as neededStay up-to-date on the latest industry standards to provide the most accurate and relevant documentation needs
  • Support team through content review
  • Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with technical writing to develop customer documentation or training role at a SaaS company
  • Experiences working at technology or digital media companies is a plus
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Atlassian Confluence)
  • Experience creating video-based learning is a plus
  • Experience with Agile software development is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to turn highly technical information into clear, concise, and focussed messaging that’s easy to understand for Amobee’s end users
  • Experience with HTML, XML, CSS, and Javascript is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with technical subject matter experts and managers to develop content
  • Passion for working with leading edge digital technologies and understanding client benefits
  • Excellent project management skills: follow-through on goals, plans, and projects, project management experience is a plus
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Willing and able to travel globally, as needed
